HELICAL (SPIRAL) WELDED STEEL PIPE:
Introduction
• Pipes are produced by steel strip forming to pipe shape and followed by automatic double-side submerged arc welding (S.A.W.).
• Pipes are delivered in compliance with all International standards, including API, DIN & AWWA Standards respectively or by other mutually agreed standards or technical specifications.
• Pipes are manufactured in the range of outside nominal diameters from 8.625 inch (219 mm) to 64 inch (1626 mm) for API range and 104” OD for non API grades, the wall thickness from 4.0 to 20 mm, in the double random lengths 8 to 18 m or in exact lengths with tolerances corresponding to appropriate standards. Deliveries of cut-to-lengths pipes lengths from 1.5 to 8 m are also possible in accordance with special agreements.
• Pipes are produced from low carbon as well as micro alloyed steels with guaranteed weld ability, up to and including Grade API 5L, X-80.
• Pipes are carefully tested using non-destructive methods (X-ray, ultrasonic); high quality and reliability of delivered pipes are guaranteed.
• Pipe Manufacturing facilities are equipped with sate of Art, most modern machinery fully capable to meet all indigenous, as well as international market demands unique of its kind in Pakistan.
TESTING:
• If some tests differ from those defined by quality standards, or pipe properties are guaranteed according to special agreements with the partners, technical conditions for such tests should be agreed before any delivery contract is signed.
PRODUCTS INSPECTION:
• The products are delivered on the basis of a requirement stated in a sale Contract after agreement of contracting parties.

Pipes are used for transport of gas, oil and water transmission and distribution system.
MATERIAL PROPERTIES:
Input material for pipes production is wide, hot rolled steel strip produced under thermally controlled rolling and cooling conditions with guaranteed weld ability.
MATERIAL GRADES:
API Spec 5L, Grade,
PSL1 / PSL2- B, X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, X65, X70, and X80
Chemical composition and mechanical properties according to API Spec.
5L/2008, Clause 9.2, tables 5 and clause 9.3, Table 6, table 7 respectively.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTIC:
Delivered dimensions, Mass and tolerances according to API Spec. 5L Standard, clause 9.11.
Assortment of lengths and maximum tolerances of the length according to API Spec. 5L, table 12.
Maximum tolerances of the outside diameter and pipe roundness are highly under control meeting to API Spec. 5L Standard.
